Stock indices give up early gains on Fed announcement

Indian stock indices ended marginally higher on Thursday, giving up most of the early gains as investors assessed the impact of US Federal Reserve's signal to end its ultra-accommodative policy by March and then raise interest rates thrice in 2022 to contain inflation.
