Recently, the Trinamool has been successful in roping in several 'disillusioned' Congress leaders into its fold including former Congress chief minister of Goa, Luizinho Faleiro. In Meghalaya, 12 of the 18 Congress MLAs joined the Trinamool, making it the principal opposition in the state assembly.
