9 killed as heavy rains last parts of north, east India, red alert issued for Rajasthan

Nine people were killed in rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal where torrential rainfall for the last two days threw life out of gear, while heavy showers drenched many parts of north India.
