Quota benefits not percolating down to neediest and poorest of poor: SC

The Supreme Court ruling favouring ‘reservation within reservation’ for those castes and classes within SCs/STs/OBCs which have not benefited and continued to languish is in line with its various orders in which it favoured re-examination of the existing policy to ensure that benefits of the quota system reach to the people who need it.
